Grey Nurse Sharks, Green Sea Turtles and Rays- Seal Rocks is one of NUDES’ most spectacular trips.

The weekend will include; two shore dives at Statis Rock at Seal Rocks, a bbq dinner, air fills, a campfire, marshmallows, a cereal breakfast, chocolate, camp site hire and transport.

The first 12 people to sign up will have an opportunity to travel on a bus to and from Seal Rocks. We will also need a second person to drive a car to and from Seal Rocks (Fuel will be paid for. Get in touch with David McGeoch to help out.)

Day 1- We will set off from NUDES gear store at 7:30 am on Saturday. After getting to Seal Rocks and setting up camp we will go for our first dive at Statis Island. After the dive, we will head back to camp for a BBQ, campfire, marshmallows and good times.

Day 2- We will get up and head for our second dive around 11 am. After the dive, we will dry off, get into some clean clothes and head home.

Snorkelers are welcomed.

What to bring:

• Tent
• Sleeping bag
• Pillow
• Torch
• Towel
• Change of clothes
• Hat
• Sunscreen
• 2 x Lunch
• Drink- alcoholic and or/ soft drinks

*If you don’t have a tent or sleeping bag consider joining the mountaineering club or buying one cheaply from kmart.

ALTHOUGH this event is open to all divers Open Water and above - please make sure you are relatively comfortable in the water ; the depth is a maximum of 15m , however there is a big surface swim to the dive site. It's about a 300m surface swim so make sure you're comfortable swimming that distance whilst in full kit! Same goes for people snorkelling.
