Purdue Room, in the Great Hall Building, Callaghan campus, UON

Organised by:
Student Giving Society

Are you community-minded and interested in ‘giving back’ to help your fellow students? Or interested in fundraising, event management, marketing, communication – then the UON Student Giving Society could be for you! We are looking for people with energy, enthusiasm and a great community spirit to join the group.

Come along to our AGM.

The society raises funds for student scholarships by running some fun and exciting fundraising events such as the ‘Godfrey Tanner Great Debate’ – an event that pits student against academics in a comedy-style debate. (this event is on Tuesday 12th April in the GT Bar at 6pm – stay tuned for more details).

Last year the group also ran a fundraising BBQ for Shaping Futures scholarships for disadvantaged students.

Members also get the opportunity to learn from industry experts in fundraising, marketing, and event management. You can also earn points towards your ILead tally.

We also have short professional development presentation by a community events specialist.
