2017 Clayton Utz Negotiation Competition

Do you want to be known as the best ‘closer’ in the city? Then here’s the chance to refine your skills! It's that time of year again for another fresh season of UNLSA Skills Competitions.
Negotiation Competition involves two teams of two students each representing a client. The teams face off and attempt to come to an outcome that best meets their client’s needs and expectations. Minimal knowledge is required of substantive law, which means it is perfect for first years! The focus of the competition is instead on your negotiating skills, so the team that wins the negotiation may not be the team which walks away with the best deal.
So whether you're a novice or more nuanced negotiator it is time to grab your partner and get registered. Competition registration closes at 12pm Thursday 16 March (Week 3) with the first round of competition starting in Week 4. Check out the UNLSA 2017 Competitions Guide for more information.
