A day to develop acting skills specific to working with cameras, and compare the art of stage craft to that of screen work!

On September the 11th, Murdoch Theatre Company is offering everyone the opportunity to develop their on camera skills and learn to apply their abilities on stage, to a screen production.

Helmed by current and past Murdoch film students Tay Broadley and Aaron Jay, both of which having experience on professional film sets along with various stage credits, the day will be divided into 3 parts. First up, a theoretical discussion about the differences in performance when acting on stage compared to acting on screen. Followed by a couple of short activities working with production crews made up of industry professionals and film students. The day will end with a large group activity, constructing a tracking shot and teaching people how to accurately hit marks and keep a consistent performance.

Tickets are set at a standard cost of $10 for the full workshop, there are limited spaces so be sure to book in advance!
