UWA ALVA Lawn, car park on the corner of Gordon St and Hampton Road

Organised by:
Students for Refugees

UWA Students for Refugees have partnered with UWA Guild Volunteering and UWA Chaplaincy to host an outdoor movie night and discussion night, screening Chasing Asylum.

Come down at 6pm and bring your picnic dinner to join us as the sun sets, with the film starting at 7.

For those unfamiliar with ALVA, there is a car park on the corner of Gordon St and Hampton Road which is the best point of entry – the film will be screened on the lawns next to the building closest to this car park. If it is raining, we will relocate to the Hew Roberts Lecture Theatre which is adjacent to the lawns.

The film will be followed by some very special guest speakers, and opportunities for you to get involved.
Chasing Asylum is brought to you by Oscar award winning documentary maker Eva Orner.

A donation of $5-$10 would be greatly apprecaited as
all proceeds go to the Swim For Refugees Program

BYO Picnic and alcohol free event
