I can say this was a great subject to anyone who never skipped lessons and any student who put effort to learn. I passed just fine

Tutes were quite interesting. Lectures were pretty boring. Even though I love literature, I have trouble with motivation, so that was a bit of a hinderance for me.

Alison was absolutely lovely, it's a super interesting unit that is really easy to do well in.

Although the content was interesting (to someone who loves literature), it may be boring to those who do not share the passion. My tutor was amazing- but the lectures were dry, slow and rehearsed. Would not recommend for someone who did not have a passion or drive to do most of the work on their own- including reading the texts.

A little drawn out with an annoying focus on foreign literature compulsory for a lit course and overall informative with interesting books.

I had a great tute class and tutor so I quite enjoyed this subject, although I suggest reading the books before the week of exams. Oops.

An okay unit, not too difficult but not really engaging either. It's something I don't mind but don't particularly enjoy. There are no attendance marks and the exam is worth 40%. Assessment isn't difficult but it's pretty boring. If you don't absolutely adore literature and poetry and you don't need it for your degree then don't even go there.
