Hey friends!

Another amazing year of biomed just about over and with that unfortunately sees us saying goodbye to our sexy committee for 2016…BUT we could not be more excited to welcome a brand spanking new committee for 2017!!

It is AGM (Annual General Meeting for the jaffs) time! Yes, NOW IS YOUR CHANCE TO GET INVOLVED IN THE BIOMED SOCIETY!

If you feel like you know what it takes to throw better events than 2016 (good luck lol) and want to make a serious difference to the university experience of your fellow biomed pals in 2017, don’t hesitate to throw your purple hand in the ring of fire at our Annual General Meeting.

Even if you’re not looking to get on committee, come support your friends and make sure the right people are chosen to make 2017 a Biomed success! Because this years committee are absolute LEGENDS, we will even be supplying you with FREE PIZZA

All positions are open, with the exception of first-year reps. This includes:
1 X All Powerful President
1 X Semi Powerful Vice-President
1 X Secretary
1 X Assistant Secretary
1 X Treasurer
1 X Assistant Treasurer
2 X Activities Officers
1 X Academic Officer
1 X Sponsorship and Publicity Officer
1 X Camp Officer

Details of the role of each position, as per the club constitution, are below. Please note you MUST be a registered MEMBER prior to the event to vote!

Committee positions require those who will be dedicated to organizing BBQs, preparing for our annual events such as cAMP, BALL and BOOZE CRUISE as well as providing support for other Biomed students. You must be willing to give Biomed your time, and realize that there are no positions that don’t require your hard work and dedication. The only prerequisite for being elected to any position is that you must be a student, have been a member for 15 days on the day of the AGM, and you must convince your fellow society members why you’re suitable for the job.

SO, if you think you have what it takes to fill the purple uniform with the distinction it deserves, prepare a thirty second and show everyone you have what it takes!!

Send your nominations to clubbiomed@monashclubs.org or our FB page before Monday 3rd October, 5PM! (with your preferences if you're nominating for more than one position).
