For the second consecutive year the Victorian University Network presents the Amnesty International Victorian Human Rights conference.

With an amazing line up of guest speakers, activities and discussions, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with Amnesty International's key campaigns: the Community is Everything campaign to reduce the rate of Indigenous children in prison, and the campaign on issues relating to Refugees and Syria.

A range of exciting workshops will also be run to create an interactive experience for attendees. There will also be a focus on careers and how you can get involved in the human rights sector.

This event is put together by a dedicated group of volunteers and university students who all believe in taking a stand for humanity and showing those in need that they are not alone!

Asher Hirsch - Policy Officer for the Refugee Council of Australia

Baqir Khan - Developer at Symbiotic Innovation and Projects Coordinator at Asylum Seekers Resource Centre

Uncle Kelvin Onus-King - leader in the Aboriginal health sector and the Aboriginal Family Planning Network.

Lisa - developer of the case management program for Connecting Homes, a service for the Stolen Generations, which take a holistic practice to support Stolen Generations and their families.

Mario Santos - President of the Victorian Branch Committee Amnesty International

Diana Sayed - Crisis Campaigner for Amnesty International
