Food is something we often take for granted; yet one in eight people around the world go hungry every day. Why does this inequality exist? Is hunger ultimately an unjust power struggle?

Oxfam at Monash's Hunger Banquet aims to address the issues surrounding food and inequality through a simulation of the income disparities around the world. We will be providing an interactive meal and presentation promoting awareness about world poverty and hunger.

Will you dine luxuriously or modestly or go to bed hungry? Is everything determined by luck? Come along and find out!
