Tired of just being a MASA member? Do you want to prove your leadership skills by taking on an Executive role? MASA will be hosting its Annual General Meeting on the 23rd of September where potential candidates will be voted in!

We'd love for all our MASA members to come together and show their MASA love by attending this year's AGM. Members that show up may even be the lucky recipients of free food!


DATE: Wednesday, 23rd September
TIME: 5pm
VENUE: H4, Menzies, Monash Clayton

Positions to be elected are as follows:
All Executive (President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary) and Director (Events, Marketing, IT and Sponsorship) committee positions will be elected on this date.

Procedures and requirements:

- Candidates must be nominated by at least two current 2015 members. The form must be sent to accounting@monashclubs.org with your application.


- The candidate must perform a speech at the AGM detailing why he or she should be elected into the position

- Director positions have 2-3 (min and max respectively) minute time limits and Executive positions have 3-4 (min and max respectively) minute time limits.

- Candidates are elected into positions by MASA members’ majority votes.

- Applicants for Non-executive and Non-Director (i.e. Officers, General Committee and HR director) roles will be selected by an interview process. Applicants will be open at a later date.
