So you are probably thinking - what is consulting?

Well, most people understand consulting simply as “problem solving”, but it is more than that. It is about assisting a clients’ performance and growth through innovative thinking, strategy and implementation, and making a tangible difference in the world around you!

If you’re a law student, you have probably heard that a Law degree is a good generalist tertiary qualification – and it’s true! The analytical and problem solving skills you learn in law school lend themselves to a wealth of other opportunities outside of the traditional law firm. In fact, consulting is an increasingly popular pathway for law students and lawyers!

As for the answers to all the other questions you may have? Like, how do I know if consulting is for me? Or, how do I get involved?

Monash Law graduate (Bachelor of Laws and Commerce), ex- Deloitte Consultant and Director of GCG Shishir Pandit, will happily provide you with those answers at our annual “What is Consulting? “ event.

It is an invaluable opportunity to learn about the profession from an expert. And more importantly, learn how you, as a student, can be part of positive changes in the community whilst building your network of industry professionals.

Come along to learn more.
