20 February, 2017

Organised by:
Monash Law Students' Society

It’s that time of the year again, meaning the time where we all struggle to find a car park because every Monash student happens to be on campus at the same time. That’s right, it’s time for Orientation Week, and as per usual, the LSS has plenty of things planned!

If you’re a First Year Law Student, look forward to Monday February 20 as its Law Orientation Day, where the LSS and Peer Mentor Program will be organising a number of activities to help familiarise you with Monash Law. Whether it be getting a taste of some of our wide range of LSS competitions at the Competitions Showcase, or asking some of your most burning Law related questions to our Student Q&A panel, we’ve got you covered! The Library will also be running its annual Case Chase activity, which is vital to complete prior to beginning your Foundations of Law unit!

Even more importantly, the LSS will be running a barbecue on the Menzies Lawn, where you can sign up to the LSS and mingle with the committee and your Peer Mentors over some local delicacies (hint: it’s snags).

If you aren’t a First Year, this is still the perfect time to sign up for the LSS, whether it be at our O-Day barbecue, or at the LSS stall that will be located on the Lemon Scented Lawns throughout the week from the times of 11-3pm.

We look forward to seeing you all there as we mourn our summer holidays gone and get ready for the university grind once again.
