Bar Night #3: The Workers Club & Perseverance
2 September, 2016
The Workers Club
Overseas and Exchange Club (MOVE)
The shenanigans continue with round 3 of our fortnightly drinks nights in Australia's premier alternative and bohemian quarter, Fitzroy! We'll be starting off at the Workers Club at 8pm where we'll be shouting our members 75 (that's right, SEVENTY FIVE) free pots of Boags beer!
We'll then be heading down Brunswick Street as a group a little after 10pm to Perseverance's 90's night, getting you free entry and cutting you through a half an hour line to the best 90's night in Melbourne, where you can dance your heart out with us until the wee hours of the morning.
Please make sure to bring your MOVE membership card and to collect a wristband from us at The Workers Club, so we can get you into Persa smoothly. We'll also be selling memberships on the day ($5 with MSA and $10 without).
If you've never been to Fitzroy before The Workers Club is a 15 minute walk from Parliament Station, but the quickest way is to get the 11 tram that runs from Collins Street, as the Workers is right next to Stop 13 (Getrude Street). Alternatively, you can take the 86 or 96 trams from Bourke Street and get off at Stop 12 (Melbourne Museum) and it's a 300 metre walk.
See you all there!
