WILDFIRE invites you to the 2016 Gippsland Clinical Skills Weekend!

The weekend offers the perfect mix of clinical practice and rural relaxation! You will be putting yourself in good stead for clinical years with an introduction to a number of clinical skills including suturing, intravenous cannulation and plastering as well as heaps more!

Tickets are only $45 and cover the cost of everything for the weekend. Price includes
- All activities and clinical stations
- Saturday lunch and afternoon tea
- Drinks and nibbles + Saturday night dinner
- Saturday night accommodation
- Sunday breakfast and lunch

You are required to make your own way to Bairnsdale. It is a three hour drive from Clayton and a 90 minute journey from Traralgon – perfect for a road trip with friends! There are also train services available and it can be arranged for you to be picked up and dropped off at the Bairnsdale station.

So come and master an array of medical skills, get a taste of rural medicine and socialise with new and old friends!

2. Suturing
3. Plastering
4. Intra-osseous insertion
5. Removal of fish hooks
6. Spine immobilisation
7. Airway management
8. Foreign body in eye removal
9. Snake bite management
10. Normal vaginal delivery
