For our Week 11 Industry Seminar, we will be hosting CSL Behring!

CSL Behring is a leader in the plasma protein therapeutics industry. The company manufactures and markets a range of plasma-derived and recombinant therapies worldwide for people with rare and serious diseases, such as haemophilia and von Willebrand disease, primary immune deficiencies, hereditary angioedema as well as various neurological disorders. CSL Behring manufacture specialised products used in hospitals for procedures such as cardiac surgery, organ transplantation and burn treatment. The company also has a branch, CSL Plasma, that operates one of the world's largest plasma collection networks. Under contract to Australia's National Blood Authority, they are the chosen national plasma fractionator in Australia and manufacture plasma-derived therapies here in their headquarters in Melbourne.

This is a great opportunity to speak to a biopharmaceutical company who employs chemical engineers so come along this Thursday to speak to their representative!
