very interesting unit

assessments well spread out, interesting content, really makes you see the world with more clarity!

This unit is super interesting and applies to every day life! However, the weekly quizzes got a bit stressful as you only have 5 minutes to do a 5 question quiz so you have to ensure that you prepare in advance. Assignments were marked abit hard however the final exam was quite easy. Tutorials were the best and the tutors were very helpful and made the class fun.

If MQU had to choose a compulsory unit for every student to take, this should be it. Too many people, no matter their level of education, fall prey to these pseudoscientific thinking or beliefs. This unit is super easy and has a light study load. The tutorials were quite fun, but the vast majority of what you need to know is in the online lectures. The tutorials were generally a repeat of the lecture content involving group activities and watching videos.

The tutorials were very interesting and far more helpful than lectures and readings as they were engaging and interactive. For a planet unit the assignment during semester was surprisingly harshly marked but it is easy to pass. There is an exam. You use the subject in everyday life which is a good thing to have, except now you question literally everything! If you are interested in astrology, alternative medicine and psychics and why they are complete bullshit, this unit is perfect for sceptics.

Interesting as someone with a philosophy background, and brought up a lot of interesting ideas in a really approachable way. Would recommend as a Planet unit to anyone, but if you don't think you'd be interested in learning about different biases, why people are inclined to believe in things that they can't see and how scam artists get at people, then this isn't for you. That's pretty much what this unit is in a nutshell. I had a good time with it, but it was a little clunky at times.

Easy subject to do well in and the final exam is not that hard a lot of past papers online which is good for revision.

interesting and an easy pass. I've never used a unit so much in every day life.

Interesting subject with engaging content. Marking was a bit harsh, but the unit overall is easy to pass. This unit really expands your thinking and views in life.

A fairly straight forward subject. Tutorials were pretty boring and a little repetitive but if you are looking for an easy subject, this is the one.
