Reviews

Good as a follow-on to PHL137, but may be a little tricky otherwise. A decent elective, but may be tedious to students who aren't interested in logic structure or who haven't taken PHL137 (which everyone should, so good). I enjoyed this unit as I had taken and loved PHL137, and I had a wonderful tutor. Assessments weren't difficult at all so long as you keep up with lectures.

This unit was totally different to what I expected it to be. Though a fair bit of the content can't really be used in everyday life, it's quite easy to get a HD once you know the logic rules

I'm quiet surprised seeing the rating, I still don't even really know how to explain what we did. The first half was sort of interesting but hard to apply to real life situations. I did Critical thinking which I loved and thought this would be similar, but it's not. As long as you show up each week, you should be fine but not something i'll be using in the future.
