Very theoretical based, which is good for understanding specific aspect of PR. However, I expected more from a third year unit, in regards to practical application and real world experience.

A good intro to PR, and not a far cry from the usual experience of a media unit. If your background is elsewhere, like marketing for example, it may take some time to get into a groove with it. But if you keep up with the readings and lecturers, this unit isn't too difficult. Assessments take time and careful editing, so ask your tutors if you need help. A couple big tasks, but no exams.
