I found this unit really interesting! It is quite content heavy and the two hour labs are mostly self-directed learning as teaching staff are limited and the classes are quite big. Lectures can be confusing and overwhelming so i supplemented a lot of my learning with youtube - especially for gross anatomy - kahnacademy & Kenhub and finished with a credit. Units like this don't require critical thinking. I would recommend making your own mnemonics to memorise structures/functions.

Great unit!!! You need to stay on top of the content, and if you do so you'll be fine. :)

I loved this unit, anatomy is fascinating! This unit is content heavy so it is advisable to stay on top of your work to do well.

I love anatomy, but didn't like this subject. The extent of content you need to retain is almost unmanageable with a full subject load (4 subjects). Definitely recommend doing this subject on a "light" semester where you are doing fewer or easier subjects with it. Not so much a 'challenging' unit, just ridiculous amounts of info to remember and very little support from teaching staff. The labs are pretty much self-directed in small groups with other students so be prepared to do most of the learning in your own time.

Really content-heavy, but participation in the tutorials and pracs make everything easy to understand. Excellent introduction to anatomy, but only if you're prepared! If you're not, it can be very overwhelming.

It was a pretty interesting unit but really content heavy so I needed to rote learn most of the content (eg terminology, functions). Tutorials and practicals were helpful
