The subject has a lot of content, though assignments are pretty easy. Only enrol in this unit if you are really interested in astronomy, otherwise it will be pretty annoying. I didn't really enjoy it much.

Do not do this unit unless you love...I mean love Astronomy!! This unit is unorganised and messy. The lecture content is very bland and not specific enough for the content they actually test you on. You actually have to rely on textbooks and literally Google. Sloppy sloppy unit and I'd never recommend it

I really did not enjoy this unit. I took it up cause I thought the content and the material would be really interesting, but in the end it just became a hassle to have to actually put effort into. Definitely only pick this unit if astronomy is DEFINITELY something you're interested in and if it's part of your required units. But really, probably one of the most disappointing units I've done so far.

Pretty average unit. Half the content is interesting, the other half is pretty bland. The assessments are pretty simple though. The unit itself is set up in a very odd way, so make sure you keep yourself up to date with the textbook readings; there is ALOT of content to go through.

Well I am rather disappointed with this unit. The lecture info is interesting and that is about the only good point to it. This is an astronomy unit and yet the main essay is on ethics and climate change. Talk about irrelevant and boring. I was looking forward to something exciting so that was a very big disappointment. Then we come to the 'concept video' assignment, a great assignment for those who know how to make a video and are creative in this way but for those of us who aren't it is bad. The online multiple choice assignments are okay, as was the moon observation assignment but those are the only really fair assessments.
