Muslim Student Association (MUMSA)
Often held but never touched, always wet but never rusts, often bites but seldom bit, to use me well you must have wit.
What am I?
The tongue is unlike any other. A fleshy organ but once turned sharp- has the ability to break a marriage, tear friendships apart, divide nations, destroy faith, cause harm more painful and detrimental than the physical, etc.
The restraint of speech has been long discussed by the 'ulama and our pious predecessors, of being the most necessary initial step in preserving our imaan and for character development.
MUMSA invites you for our weekly lecture series, "Prohibitions of the Tongue", given by Shaikh Anthony Andrist. He will be going through the text of the same name, written by Shaikh Muhammad al Mawlud.
Join us every Tuesday,
11AM-12PM, for your weekly imaan hit!
Save yo' self (from spiritual destruction)
