Julie has been a teacher within the Ryde Area and has campaigned against overdevelopment in Ryde, particularly the Allengrove site at North Ryde.

Justin Alick
Greens candidate for the lower house seat of Bennelong

Justin has been in the past been involved in the international aid sector in Southeast Asia and is currently a member of the Ryde Council’s Bushland and Environment Advisory Committee. He holds qualifications in a Bachelor of Political and International Studies and in Development Planning and Public Policy.

Martin Mulcare
Independent candidate for the lower house seat of Bennelong

Martin has a wealth of experience in the financial services industry as an Actuary, which have included general management roles during his career. Martin left the corporate world at the end of 2005 to embark on a new career, sharing ideas in facilitation and business advice.

Labor - Katie Gompertz

Katie is the candidate for the seat of Bradfield. She holds a BA and a Masters in Management. She has written the Domestic Violence column in the South Sydney Herald for the past year and is a strong advocate for the arts, medicare, and gonski.

Because of the nature of the event, we would like students and attendees to submit questions to MUPS prior to the event via email or Facebook. Questions for the candidates on the night will not be accepted so if you have a burning policy or electoral question be sure to submit it to us by June 1!!
