We are very privileged to welcome Senator Lee Rhiannon, Federal Greens Animal Welfare spokesperson, and Mark Pearson MLC, Animal Justice Party NSW to come and chat to us about Making Animals Matter In Parliament.
Lee Rhiannon has held the Animal Welfare portfolio for the Federal Greens since her election to the Senate in 2010. She has campaigned strongly against live export and cosmetics testing, introducing bills on these issues and more.
Mark Pearson commenced his position in the NSW Upper House just 12 months ago, but in that time has made advances on many issues including kangaroo shooting, puppy farming, animal agriculture and more. Mark brings many years of experience as an animal activist with Animal Liberation NSW to his role.
