Welcome to semester 1 2016, Macquarie feminists and may it be an empowered one!
Whether it's your millionth year at the university and you're wondering if you'll ever leave or if you're stepping foot on campus for the very first time, whether you have been to Collective events before or just dipping your toes in the water, you are cordially invited to the very first Macquarie University Wom*n's Collective Meet and Greet for 2016. Come along, get acquainted with the Women's Room, meet some like-minded new friends (or catch up with old ones), meet your Macquarie University Women's Representative (Ellie Sanderson), learn about events and initiatives we're looking at for 2016, and eat some free pizza!

What: Macquarie Women's Collective Meet and Greet
Where: the Women's Room (top floor of Hub, at the end of the hall past the conference rooms)
When: March 1st, 2pm onwards
Why: Because you love feminism, friends, and pizza

Please try and RSVP to the event by midnight February 28th so we have an idea of how much pizza to order from UBar. Come along and invite your friends for what will be a very chilled afternoon!
*Please note, this is event is just for female identifying/non-binary students as it is hosted in the Women's Room. Look out for other events coming up soon for opportunities to get involved with feminism on campus regardless of your gender identity, we've especially got some great things coming up for International Women's Day in week 2*
