Organised by:
Actuarial Student's Society (ASSOC)

Hey There!

The Actuarial Students’ Society of Macquarie University (ASSOC) is an award winning student group aimed at enriching the university and study experience of actuarial students. With an average of at least one event every week during the semesters, we aim to help build bridges between students of all years and backgrounds. The multitude of social events, such as trivia night, JASS ball and Camp; and the career events to improve your professionalism and help you discover the actuarial field; will guide you in integrating your studies with a colourful in-uni experience.

If you’re interested in pursuing a career in risk management and consulting, or just want to know how to pronounce ‘actuarial’, come down to our stall during Open Day. You can talk to our friendly committee members who will be more than happy to answer any of your questions about the course, our amazing society and university in general.

If you need further convincing as to why actuarial studies is the degree for you, we can direct you to academics who have worked in the profession for decades and now are lecturers teaching the course. We will also be running games during the day so don’t hesitate to come and enquire about a new possible career pathway for you!
