Reviews

Is a difficult subject to understand at first and they kind of expect you to just understand the concept straight up. My seminar leader, Liz, was amazing and took the time to explain everything to us but the lecturer, Emma, rushed through everything and was expecting first year students to understand complex legal theories off the top of our head.

Emma is an extremely rude and unpleasant subject co-ordinator. One example is where, during a lecture, after having witnessed two students walk out (probably because of how boring she is), she said: "that's embarrassing."

Difficult but practical.

This was a subject which started out well, but was poorly run and structured, and by the end, was confusing and hard to keep up with. The tutors for the subject did their best and were very good at handling this messy subject.

I felt that the subject lacked structure and organisation. It would have been useful if there was a subject learning guide that contained detailed information on required readings and assessment tasks etc.
