The 2 Day Great Ocean Road tour combines the absolute best of this iconic Australian destination. We visit all the attractions and have time to enjoy some of the best beaches in Victoria. Combine this with walks in ancient rainforests and spectacular waterfalls and a chance to see Australian wildlife this really is a fantastic weekend adventure.
The Great Ocean Road stretches for 243 kilometers along the stunning southeastern coast between Torquay and Warrnambool. An Australian National Heritage listed road, built by returned soldiers between 1919 and 1932. The road winds through gorgeous terrain along the coast and leads you to many significant landmarks and natural wonders.
This Great Ocean Road experience is one you will never forget. Twist and snake along some of the world's most scenic coastlines and marvel at all the sights.
Overnight Trip: Saturday 18 March - Sunday 19 March
DAY 1: Meet your Driver/Guide at 8 AM
Depart Melbourne at 8 AM
Morning Tea at Torquay
Anglesea & Bells Beach-look for Kangaroos
Aireys inlet-visit Split Point lighthouse & Boardwalk
Visit Erksine water falls
Lunch in Lorne-explore the town, shops and beach
Visit Sheoak Waterfalls
Stop at scenic lookouts along the road
Look for Koalas in the Kennett River Area
Feed wild parrots
Visit Mariners look out in Apollo Bay
Explore Apollo Bay and take a swim (Summer Only)
Spend the night in Apollo Bay
Breakfast at 7 AM
Depart Apollo Bay
Maits Rest temperate rainforest walk
Morning Tea in Lavers Hill
Gibsons Steps-see the Apostles from sea level
Loch Ard Gorge, Razorback, Island Archway
Lunch in Port Campbell
Peterborough, last chance for a swim (Summer Only)
Bay of Martyrs
Bay of Island
Return to Melbourne and arrive about 6 PM

Are operated by a professional tour company and are supported by La Trobe student volunteer/s
Include main meals, bus transportation, attraction entry fees and accommodation (where applicable)
Are non-fundable if cancellations are made less than 5 days before the trip. Guests are welcome, however, to on sell their ticket, but must inform LTSU via email of the name change.
Are open to non-students/friends as long as their accompanied by current La Trobe student/s
