Student Theatre and Film

A La Trobe Student Theatre and Film production, performed as part of ACTIVATE FESTIVAL 2016.

Written by Patricia Cornelius
Directed by Melissa Viola

She was hilarious. We loved her life. We envied her freedom... She was outrageous. She was shameless. She was no good. Such a slut...

From award-winning Melbournian playwright Patricia Cornelius comes Slut, the story of a young woman's rise and fall, spaning from the early years in which her sexuality blossomed to the inevitable backlash and rejection from her friends and society itself. Told from the perspective of her classmates, Slut tackles the gritty and harsh realities of female sexuality in Australia, and discusses the fate of women doomed from the beginning.

Slut is an intense capturing drama running six nights only.
