What would you do if you were given half a million dollars?
For Rupert and Noah, becoming Australia’s most wanted people smugglers wasn’t what they were expecting.
What if your world was turned upside down by a letter?
For Roo, that means having one of the most dangerous jobs you can have in the second world war.
Written as part of the Geoffrey Milne writing grant, Boatpeople is a dual-narrative drama written for the stage. It’s a story about love, family, and finding your place in the world.
Student Theatre and Film are proud to present an early reading of the play, as well as a Q and A session afterwards.
