When:
11 May, 2015

Location:
The Strand - Townsville

Organised by:
Law Student Society

The JCULSS is creating a team to partake in the Queensland Legal Walk on Tuesday 12 May.

This is a great opportunity for law students to mix with profession in an informal way. The walk is led in Brisbane by the Chief Justice and Queensland Attorney General. In Townsville it is usually led by the Northern Supreme Court Judge Justice North but he has commitments out of Townsville on 12 May. Therefore, one of the District or Federal Court judges lead the walk. In addition we expect to have representatives of the Queensland Law Society and Bar Association, court officers and officials and other members of the profession.

Apart from an opportunity to network with the profession students have the opportunity to make some contribution to the funding of legal services for those most in need in the community.

Cost: $10 (early bird registration closes 28 April)
A light healthy breakfast will be included.
