2.0 out of 5 stars Student's Perspective
Verified PurchaseThis book was required for a 100 level Audiology class I took. With that said I felt this book was far too detailed, and often difficult to study if not reading the book word for word. Words/phrases that should be bolded to bring attention to the reader are not, and those that are seem really irrelevant. The index and glossary are horrible, as is the narration.
As a student, I hated reading this book.

Verified PurchaseThe book reads as if written for children. We are adults and should be taught as such; we do not need cartoon "gremlins" to teach us the fundamentals of Masking. I am 35 years old, Mr. Bess/Humes. Remember this.
