I received this book in no time after ordering. This book is perfect for sports therapists looking to add to their knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for patients. It also covers many of the factors to consider when designing a rehabilitation protocol. Overall a good buy

3.0 out of 5 stars Average Textbook
Verified PurchaseThis class was in my top 3 favorite classes I've taken in college of the 120 credit hours I've taken so far. However the book went about explaining the material in a very basic way. Some textbooks I've had in the past try to make the material fun or look at it from a different approach. This textbook describes a rehab protocol and situations where they are needed. It makes no other efforts to teach the information but instead lists exactly what it is. I would give the comparison of a dictionary, straightforward yet dull compared to how great the class is.
If you are a professor reading this, I'd suggest looking for other books to teach the class, but it would still make a nice reference book for a library.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, not great
Verified PurchaseThe text is missing key anatomy pictures, it has it for almost every section, then it doesn't have it for the hand and wrist which is the most complex chapter and you would think would have anatomy with it as a reference

4.0 out of 5 stars Bsc Sports Therapy student
Verified PurchaseGood book, great exercises, clear explanations, what more can I say, goes into to a lot of detail, for all the various stages of injury and rehabilitation. Good read but a lot of content, so not an easy read!

2.0 out of 5 stars I did not like this book
Verified PurchaseI did not like this book. Words were small and not enough pictures. This is a rehab book and should show all different type of techniques. The should make it as big as the other prentice book. It cost too much money for a book that I felt was less than average.
