5.0 out of 5 stars in love with the book

Actually, this book was bought for my niece, so the review is hers:

I'm studying anthropology in UFMG, Brazil, and last semester I read two chapters from the book to the "introduction to anthopology" course. We had something like two in one courses: intro. to anthropology and to archaeology.
I found those chapters really enlightening, easy to read, and most of all, easy to understand.
So I decided do look out for the book, as I will be choosing my emphasis in archaeology.
    Geezzzz!! @_@
The book is lot more than I expected! It really covers all aspects of the arcaheology field (and covers well),says what to do, and not to do, how to register the findings, and so on. And I might say that when I foud about the photo in illustration part I almost got my breath out. Because that is something I was really looking for, since I'm graduated in Fine Arts, and drawing + archaeology is something I am hoping to work with.

The book arrived early than estimated! I thought it was a new book because of the excellent condition. It is a required textbook for one of my anthropology course but I really enjoyed it that I decided to buy one as a collection and reference.

I'm a HUGE archaeology nerd, and I loved this book! I bought it for an archaeology lab class, but found it to be an incredibly entertaining and well-written book. It's not only informative, but funny as well. It makes doing your homework much easier! :) I sold the book back to my school, but before I did I copied some of the pages out of it (including some recipes for while you're out camping!)
