5.0 out of 5 stars Molto indicato per i neofiti
Verified PurchaseLibro veramente ben fatto! Nonostante sia in Inglese risulta essere molto scorrevole e chiaro. Molto utile per chi, come me, non possiede conoscenza in materia.

5.0 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC BOOK!
Verified PurchaseThis book was EXACTLY what I wanted & needed. I am a practicing electrical/acoustical engineer starting to incorporate Matlab into my work. The book guides you to solving practical problems with Matlab with a step-by-step approach that helps to clarify your problem solving and decreases the intimidation of command-line programming. The author covers a good range of problem topics that serve well to reveal Matlab's functionality & power. For any engineer needing a jump start into Matlab, this very well written book deserves a place on your reference shelf.

5.0 out of 5 stars exactly what I needed.
Verified PurchaseAs a graduate student looking to quickly learn Matlab, this book was exactly what I needed. I went through some select chapters, worked the problems and was on my way to completing assignments for a numerical methods mathematical class after about 12 - 15 hrs of self study. I continue to use the book for reference and am constantly getting better with my programs. The Matlab program has great help and support built in, however, this book is great for getting started and up to speed quickly.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good
Verified PurchaseFor my class in particular, if you can do the in text problems you could pass the MATLAB class. Very thorough up until the for loop and while loop section. The examples sort of helped. The first like 6 or so end of chapter problems are easy and help you understand things, then they get really complicated. Janky solutions are on chegg!

5.0 out of 5 stars Straightforward and Clear
Verified PurchaseMoore's book is a very straightforward and simple introduction to MatLab. I had a terrible professor for my class in MatLab so it was easy for students to get confused, but this book made it easy to understand everything and get back on track.
