- Reviewed in Australia on 30 July 2024Verified PurchaseI found this book on Amazon at a cheaper price then it was on booktopia. I received the book in perfect condition and I couldn't be happier.
I'm currently studying animal care at tafe and noticed that the tutors referenced this book alot in each module. I looked at the book first in the library and decided it was worth purchasing it to
use for my course. The book is full of information and more I've already been through the entire book bookmarking pages for my modules.
This book has generally expanded my knowledge in animal care that I've applied to further my studies next year
- Reviewed in Australia on 22 June 2019Verified PurchaseI was a little worried about ordering this book through Amazon as I had seen some bad reviews about it being new, but it arrived sealed in plastic and brand new. No marks in it or anything, so I'm very pleased with that. I was actually surprised at how heavy and big this book was, actually! It looks like it has a lot of helpful information and pictures, but I don't know for sure, yet. I was told I had to have this book for my CERT III Animal Studies course, so that's why I got it. I'll post an update on the actual info in the book in my review when I finish my course.
- Reviewed in Australia on 22 October 2024Verified PurchaseThis book helped me get my vet nursing qualifications in 2019, and to this day, still use it as a reference sometimes.

This book is the best $90 I’ve ever spent, having this book is going to help out a lot !
All my veterinary friends have this book and refer back to it after years of working in industry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Reference book
Verified PurchaseI use this book for my animal studies course, and it has covered any and all topics brought up - and more! Dogs, cats, horses, birds, reptiles and exotic species are all looked at and considered in this book. A big read, but well written and comprehensive. No nonsense with plenty of information. Thanks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth it
Verified PurchaseAmazing textbook filled with small animal contents useful for work, school etc. would recommend to any students out there be it studying vet med or vet tech. Very help and detailed. And I think it is worth the investment if you are really passionate. Large and heavy book by the way

5.0 out of 5 stars Por fin lo tengo en mi poder
