Mir wäre Vieles so viel einfacher gefallen!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for medical school
Verified PurchaseI'm a first year medical student and used this book for our physiology class after trying the one the professors recommended and hating it. Constanzo was recommended to me by a second year student and they were spot on. Things are organized in a very logical way and combined with the clear explanations made things very easy for me to understand. Our recommended course text on the other hand was very dense and often explained concepts in a way that was much more complicated than necessary, so Constanzo saved me. Since each section is an easy read and not that lengthy it was also easy for me to read Constanzo on top of the rest of my course work, it was never too time-consuming to do. And I did really well in phys so this book definitely paid off for me. I also liked that there are a lot of diagrams all in color and good summary tables throughout. There's also a bit on pathophysiology at the end of each section giving a good introduction to some of the main renal, CV, etc. conditions. Finally because the book is only ~500 pages from cover to cover it's less than an inch thick and doesn't weight that much so I could easily carry it around with me to study out of without feeling like I just put a brick into my bag. I can easily see why Constanzo is so popular both as a textbook for courses and for board review (with the smaller BRS physiology version). I definitely recommend this book for medical students.

5.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase
