I'm an MBA student, this was our textbook for a Corporate Finance Case Study class. I highly recommend it for those who are already familiar with Corporate Finance. It's a good review for corporate finance
1) Good Coverage
It's organized by topics; each topic has several cases, covering almost all corporate finance areas.
2) With introduction and interpretation of key concepts
Though this is a case-only book and should be used with another corporate finance textbook, many key concepts are also contained in cases' text, interpreted even more scenario-driven, which made me understand better the concepts studied in my corporate finance class.
3) With companion CD and website including excel data and templates, which made the book suitable for my hands-on practice
4) Cases are complicated enough to make you think deeply, generating good discussion as well.

"Case Studies in Finance, 6e" links managerial decisions to capital markets and the expectations of investors. At the core of almost all of the cases is a valuation task that requires students to look to financial markets for guidance in resolving the case problem. The focus on value helps managers understand the impact of the firm on the world around it. These cases also invite students to apply modern information technology to the analysis of managerial decisions. The cases may be taught in many different combinations. The eight-part sequence indicated by the table of contents relates to course designs used at the authors' schools. Each part of the casebook suggests a concept module, with a particular orientation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Case Studies in Finance
Format: HardcoverVerified PurchaseThis book gives great real life situations that use the instruments that are learned in Corporal Finance. Though, to really get a lot out of this book I would suggest a Corporal Finance book to better help answer some of the questions. Overall it is a great book to teach Finance Majors about real life situations.
