About the author

I was born in 1939 and spent my formative years in a small mining/fishing village called Skinningrove on the Cleveland Coast north of Whitby. "Yesterday's Child" chronicles this period. At the age of fifteen, I joined the Royal Navy as a boy seaman, "Metamorphosis" refers to this period. On leaving the Royal Navy I eventually joined the Prison Service "Poacher to Keeper" completes the trilogy.
On retiring to Whitby North Yorkshire buying a boat and enjoying the freedom of the sea fishing, I began to write children's books for my Grandchildren and now my Great-Grandchildren These are in the" Cassie and James" series set in Whitby. Since then I have ventured into adult fiction with "Migration of Souls" and "Death by Prejudice" of which I am proud of. Hopefully there are more to come
