Gregory Bassham is formerly Professor of Philosophy at King's College (Pennsylvania). He is the author, co-author, or editor of twelve books, including Stoicism for Dummies (2024), Environmental Ethics: The Central Issues (2021), The Bedside Book of Philosophy (2021), Critical Thinking: A Student's Introduction (7th ed. 2023), The Philosophy Book: 250 Milestones in the History of Philosophy (2016), C. S. Lewis’s Christian Apologetics: Pro and Con (2015), and The Ultimate Harry Potter and Philosophy (2010). A native of Oklahoma, Bassham received a BA and an MA from the University of Oklahoma and a doctorate from the University of Notre Dame.
