About the authors
David Anderson is a pilot and a lifelong flight enthusiast. He has degrees from the University of Washington, Seattle, and a Ph.D. in Physics from Columbia University. He has had a thirty-year career in High Energy Physics at Los Alamos National Laboratory, C.E.R.N in Geneva Switzerland and at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory.
Scott Eberhardt is a pilot who works in high-lift aerodynamics at Boeing Commercial Airplanes Product Development. He has degrees from MIT and a Ph.D. in aeronautics and astronautics from Stanford University. He joined Boeing in 2006 after a 20 years on the faculty of the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the University of Washington, Seattle.

Verified PurchaseÜber die Frage, warum ein Flugzeug fliegt, wird in Fachkreisen viel diskutiert. Auf dem Markt findet man leider noch viel Literatur zu dem Thema, in der an überkommenen und häufig falschen Theorien festgehalten wird. Dieses Buch ist äußerst empfehlenswert. Gut verständlich und dabei ziemlich umfassend.
Schade, dass es so schwer zu beschaffen ist. Ich habe fünf Wochen darauf gewartet.
