Purchasing this edition was a replacement for the edition I purchased in 1980. I am very happy with this edition. The sections are well organized, the photos and diagrams are excellent. There is attention to detail. There are excellent discussions on current issues like PSA testing and the DRE in screening for prostate cancer. My only negative comment is that this purchase took more than six months to be fulfilled on the amazon.ca site, despite being available on many other sites, including amazon.com.
