Verified PurchaseIt came in a nice timely fashion but unfortunately it was only wrapped in a paper bag & the bag ripped & there was some damage to the book. Most things should be shipped in some type of bubble wrap.

Verified PurchaseMitchell and Jolley's Research Design book is designed with the undergraduate psychology major in mind. "Research Design Explained" offers a comprehensive, however elementary, synthesis of some the most fundamental aspects in psychology research. If someone were interested in a more in-depth understanding of how to create better experimental designs, I would recommend Shadish, Cook, and Campbell's "Experimental and Quasi-Experimental Designs for Generalized Causal Inference." These two books in combination are a win.
