The book itself is easy to digest. However, most figures are hard to read, particularly the ones in the process chapters. Some are impossible to read.

- Reviewed in Australia on 2 August 2017Verified PurchaseThis is a faithful rendition of the hardcopy version except that a number of the diagrams are unreadable. This makes the product barely fit for purpose, especially given the price. It is quite clear that in the project to produce a Kindle version of the handbook there were deficits in the quality control. Not at all a good look for a book on project management.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ottimo Framework per gestire progetti, dalle persone al lato business. Top
Format: PaperbackVerified Purchase- Uso:

5.0 out of 5 stars Very solid reference guide. Needs help if being used to "learn" PRINCE2 entirely through self-study however.
Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseExtremely well organized and economical with its words in a very large conceptual world of a project management framework. One can tell it was peer reviewed by a massive number of people.
It's not really a 'course textbook' though, more of a reference manual. PRINCE2 is almost too large for that. Without turning the first ten chapters into a monolithic read, it's impossible to sequence everything in a logical pattern that introduces you to all of the glossary, core principles, and methods and procedures in a way that an inexperienced Project Manager would encounter them on a just-in-time basis in an actual project. So be prepared for flipping back and forth between the narrative and the glossary if embarking on a self-study program, without the assistance of an experienced practitioner, and dealing with the more puzzling of the conceptual components with full understanding they'll likely be rounded out later in the narrative.

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential book for the exams, just use loads of bookmarks!
Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseThis book, in my opinion, is an essential part of preparation, and ultimately the passing of the PRINCE2 foundation and practitioner exams.
You have to be very methodical about it though. I used this book in conjunction with a class based course, and made lots of notes in the book as well as using lots and lots of the thin post-it note things to mark areas in the book. I think it would be tough just to use this book alone to understand all the concepts and pass the exams, but not imposible.
My advice if you are preparing for the advice is to mark each section with a post-it note bookmarks so you can quickly reference that section in the exam! the practitioner exam is very tight when it comes to timing (and don't make the same mistake as me and leave the transferring of answers to the separate answer sheet, as that was probably the most nerve wracking 15 minutes of my life as I raced to mark the answers on that sheet!! - it takes WAY longer than I thought to make black marks on a piece of paper!!)
that said!... this book is meant as a source of reference for the course and the exam, and when used in that way it is brilliant. it helped me to pass the practitioner exam, as I could quickly reference details that I needed to clarify when faced with questions that could easily go one way or there other.
Go through it, make sure you understand each of the concepts, and make sure you put loads of bookmarks in it so you can quickly skip through it.
Good luck with the exams when you take them, preparation is the key!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Arrived on time. Good for training.
Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseThe product arrived on time without any issues. The book is good.
But the binding seems a little weak in the middle, after extensive usage it splits a little in the middle, although all the pages are still intact.
Thanks
