    I bought this book for my son; I ended up studying the book too. It is written in a very detailed and clear manner. Sample exercises are very explanatory. I also bought the Solution to Exercises.

    I was a little confused when I ordered the Solution to Exercises because there are three versions available: 1) Solution to Red Exercises, 2) Solution to Black Exercises, 3) Solution to Exercises. I ordered the third one; it is the solution of both red and black (i.e. ALL) exercises.

    Perfect! This edition is ‘outdated’ in the eyes of some professors, but the content is very similar to, if not the same as, the newer additions. We were fortunate enough to have a professor who cared about the ridiculous amounts of money the students had to pay for the new addition and allowed them to use this one. Perhaps some of the questions are different, but we have found that the subject matter is the same.
    Ask your professor if this edition is acceptable because it can save you hundreds of dollars.
