    Dorland's is known for its excellent dictionaries. I've used the pocket dictionary for a while before this purchase, but noticed some terms were missing and a lot of "additional" medical information was not in there. Dorland's Illustrated Medical was a great addition to my personal library of books and has helped me a lot. Terms are better explained, figures help for a better understanding and the fact all drugs are in there help a lot with advanced pathology courses.

    For me, personally, there is just one downside, it's size. This dictionary is due to all the information in it, very big and not easy to take along for short vacations and such.

    ドーランドの医学用語辞典です。医学用語で分からない単語があったとき、この辞書ならたいてい載っています。第何版だったか軽装版を使用していた頃は随分お世話になりました。判型は今と大差ありませんが。

    付属のCD-ROMには、オンライン医学辞書、医学用語スペルチェッカー、PDA用医学辞書、医学用語発音ソフト、アニメーションが用意されています。

    オンライン医学用語辞書は便利といえば便利です。

    Dorland's Electronic Medical Spellerは最新のMS Word2007、MS Office2007にはインストール出来ませんでした。 MS Word2003,MS Office2003まではインストール選択のリストに載ってます。

    Dorland's Pocket Medical Dictionary PDA softwareは、付属CD-ROMでPOCKETConsultにアクセスしてしかるべき手続きを踏めば、手持ちのPDAなりスマートフォンなりで使用できるようになります。たいていのスマートフォンに対応してます。

    付属のCD-ROMはWindows対応。

    Very, very, very helpful medical dictionary. I was very suprised of the size of this book its huge!!! But well worth the money. There are numerous pages of non stop things to see and read up on in here along with supporting pictures for some. I bought this book for my human anatomy class because my instructor recommended it and I am so glad that I bought it, because it helps me out a lot in class and even when I am not in class. I highly recommend to anyone who is going into the medical field.
