Textbook on International Law provides a concise and accessible exposition of the key areas of international law for the student. All the components of an undergraduate course are considered and analysed, with particular emphasis placed on the practice of states. The book provides a thorough grasp of both the theory and practice of international law. This fifth edition has been updated to include new material on the use of force, the International Criminal Court, and terrorism. As well as being an invaluable aid for law students, this book will also help students of international politics and diplomacy in understanding how the international community actually works.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have for international law students
Verified PurchaseYou cannot go wrong with this book when dealing with international law. The language is simple, clear and to the point. The chapters are thorough enough and cover topics such as Law of the Sea, State Immunity, Diplomatic Immunity, Sources of Law . . . all topics which are currently included in my school's International Law course. This book was recommended to me by a professor and it has lived up to my expectations.
