Flinders University Community Permaculture Garden

Organised by:
Flinders University Vegetarian and Vegan Club

Flinders Permaculture Committee and Flinders University Vegetarian and Vegan Club are excited to present our weekly collaborative event; Meet 'n' Weed and Potluck.

Meet 'n' Weed is a weekly working bee that has been run by the Permaculture Committee since August 2016, and now includes a weekly vegan-friendly potluck. Our aim in hosting this weekly event is to create a tight-knit community at Flinders over shared pride in work and delicious food, with similar values and ethical beliefs.

Come lend a hand as we prepare for O'Week festivities at the Mad Tea Garden (otherwise known as the Community Permaculture Garden) on Sturt campus (location will be posted in event discussion).

For the summer season we're hitting the garden bright and early to get some work done in order to beat the heat. Expect tire painting, packing beds, general maintenance. Gloves are available, however feel free to bring your own.

Please bring a dish to share, a re-useable plate and cutlery. This is a vegan-friendly community, and we ask that any food that is brought to the event is vegan. Tea and mugs are available.

If you are interested in getting involved with the Permaculture Committee or the Vegetarian and Vegan Club in 2017 this is the perfect opportunity to meet everyone.

Please feel free to stop by any time - even just for lunch (held around 11-12). Hope to see you there!
