Walk Together is an annual national celebration of Australia’s diversity, designed as a tangible expression of the welcoming, fair and compassionate society we’re committed to building.

Walk Together 2016 will be a huge celebration of diversity and a loud declaration that thousands of Australians believe we can become a nation known for our compassion, generosity and welcome.

**Start**: Meet at Torrens Parade ground to start walking at 11am

**Finish**: Walk ends at Elder Park. Food, fun and performances to follow!


Entertainment includes:

During the Walk performers including the Australian Tamil Arts and Rhythms of Resistance drumming group will play and walk with us.

At Elder Park, Woodville Concert Band will perform and will include some interpretations of modern hits.

The Rancakers – a West Sumatran style group who had great reviews at Indofest will treat us to a 10 minute dance and music performance.

The Greek Orthodox Community of SA Dance Academy will get us all up on our feet with some interactive dancing.

Nine News Weather Presenter, Jessica Braithwaite, will team up with her brother, Sean, to fill the park with some modern indie-pop melodies, and Luke Marrone will play some contemporary tunes too as well as some classics.

There will be a music performance by Hope of Africa, and Oscar Asbanu,a West Timorese artist will also play in his own unique style.

So come for the Walk, stay for the Festival – make a day out of it – enjoy!
