DLSS: Diversity in Law
27 July, 2016
'The Point', Burwood Corporate Centre, Deakin University
Law Students Society
The DLSS are constantly endorsing the role of diversity as a key strength to student success. We strive to encourage and promote equality in university and the workplace whether it is in terms of; gender, sexuality, culture or race.
Thus, it is only fitting that we present our new initiative ‘Diversity in Law’. This event is to celebrate those who have been successful in the legal profession and have overcome diversity or have dedicated themselves to endorsing it.
If you are interested in hearing panelists from Clayton Utz, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, K&L Gates, King & Wood Mallesons and MinterEllison, speak about the role of diversity in the legal profession and how it can be used as an advantage, sign up here:
This is a free event, canapés and drinks provided at the end.
