5 September, 2016
Burwood Corporate Centre (Level 2, Building BC)
Law Students Society
The DLSS alongside PLT providers The College of Law Australia and Leo Cussen Centre for Law bring to you our very first PLT Skills Seminar.
This event aims to provide a workshop type environment for students to gain practical legal information and skills that can be used to further their job prospects. It is designed to serve as an example of the practical skills that students will be taught when they undergo PLT.
The College of Law’s seminar will be focusing on “Writing and Drafting in Legal Practice”. The Leo Cussen Centre for Law seminar will be on “Job Options and Job Search”.
Students will have the opportunity to attend both within the 2 hours.
What is Practical Legal Training (PLT)?
If you wish to practise at the end of your law degree, you are required to complete an additional course known as a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP), Practical Legal Training (PLT) or Practical Training Course (PTC) to qualify for admission.
